Jason B. Meyer, JD, CCEP
Jason is the President and Founder of LeadGood, LLC. He is an attorney and a Certified Ethics and Compliance Professional (CCEP).
Jason has been on the senior management teams of seven different enterprises, filling the roles of corporate counsel, business leader, compliance officer, and innovator. His executive experience encompasses the fields of education, compliance, integrated services, the life sciences, government contracting, and the media.
Jason has shown a career-long commitment to innovative education and the engaging communication of knowledge, as a means of improving communities, personal behavior and business performance.
- As founder, President and General Counsel of the innovative LAWCAST® audio legal news services, Jason created a ground-breaking form of continuing legal education.
- As Chief Legal Officer and Compliance Officer of EduNeering, he also led the company’s ethics education business unit; there, he drove a new approach to compliance education, focused on elevating behavior rather than just meeting minimum requirements. He also helped numerous clients in the life sciences build more effective compliance programs.
- As General Manager of LRN’s education business, he focused on both engagement and operations; the results were improved internal and customer-facing systems, record rates of production, and a more focused and effective ethics e-learning library. While at LRN, Jason was also the first to design, research and draft a nationwide e-learning series on ethics and compliance for college and university faculties and staff.
Jason is a member of the Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) and the International Association of Independent Corporate Monitors (IAICM). He is also a frequent author and speaker on ethics and compliance topics; he has served on the faculty of the SCCE’s annual Compliance and Ethics Institute since 2014.
Jason earned his law degree cum laude at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, and his B.A. with high honors from Princeton University, at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
Jason has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from his town’s Cub Scout Pack, for which he was a three-time Den Leader and long-time campfire storyteller. Jason is also a registered mentor for Team 293 “SPIKE” in the FIRST Robotics Compeititon He continues to serve as an adult leader for his town’s Boy Scout Troop. Jason is also a former Chair of the Ethics, Compliance, and Corporate Governance Committee of the New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association (NJCCA).
